What is the difference between controlling with time rather than temperature?
Time is a universal method of control. As you increase or decrease the time of fire on a boiler, you are changing the btu supply from the source. That could be a steam boiler, Warm air furnace, Air conditioning compressor, a chiller, Roof top HVAC, geothermal, or heat pump system.
Temperature is most effective with Hydronic boiler systems, condensing boilers, Hydro Air systems, Solar Hydronic heating because it is a stable measure of BTU supply output. Exquisite Heat analysis of indoor load demand allows for precise adjustment of supply temperature from the boiler.
How much will it cost me to add Exquisite Heat to my heating system>? A quick estimate will range from $700-$2200 depending on your fuel usage. You need to keep complete and accurate fuel bills. Your heating bill is 75% of your fuel bill. The rest is fuel used for hot water for dishes and bath. Calculate your heating fuel use. Multiply that amount by 10% to calculate the minimum annual savings you will achieve with precision control. Multiply that number by 2. If this number is larger or smaller than the price range, the lower or upper price will determine your installed price estimate. How does Exquisite Heat fit into the carbon reduction program?

Why could you not sell it to a large corporation?
Large Oil and Gas has not shown an interest in conservation. That would reduce their profit for Wall Street. Boiler companies do not want their boilers to last longer. Any metal engineer will tell you that operating boilers at lower Delta temperatures ( 20 F) will allow them to not have the metal fatigue and seal failure, that now occur in boilers with fixed high limits and high (60+ F ) Delta Temperatures. Exquisite Heat control adds a boiler safety level, by shutting down the system if the brain recognizes a fault. Fix it then turn it back on.
